Academy Blvd. will celebrate with a Grand Opening event for customers at 9 a.m. on Friday,  Aug. 10.  featuring free hot, cold or iced drinks for a year for the first 100 customers in line at 9 a.m. on opening day.

This past week of July 30th thru August 4th 2012, The Ringside World Championships took place in Kansas City, MO. Luisjoe Ybarra entered the 11-12 yr old 85lb junior div, hoping to place somewhere in the top. Luisjoe placed thrid in the world Championships,

"Its gets tougher every year" Luisjoe says, "I jump weight as I got there to 85lb and found out that the boxers at that weight were lot bigger than me, but you have to deal with whomever is in front of you at the time. I know I am still growing and have to adjust my reach and power punches, But it will com. I had fun and like always, met new friends from around the world. There were seven countries that competed It was awesome, I can't wait until next year."
