Deedee Reinstein didn't have a lot of experience running a coffee shop when she decided to go into the business, but she did have a lot of experience frequenting coffee shops, growing up in Spokane, Washington. She knew what she wanted to create and recently, was able to do it, with Mo Glo coffee and espresso in the Widefield Square shopping center.

Deedee was born in Washington state. She attended Whitworth University there and studied psychology. She also met her husband Joe in Spokane, while "cruising Riverside". Joe was in the Air Force, and after dating for two years, the two were married. They have three children, Jeremy, Jared and Lauren.

Joe was stationed at Schriever AFB, near Colorado Springs in 1994. When his term of service expired in 1998, he took a civilian job at Shriever.  Deedee was a stay at home Mom and also ran a daycare business out of the house. When the kids got a little older, her mind started going to reproducing the coffee shops she was so used to, that you'll find on just about every corner in Spokane.

Deedee and her sister Leslie got their feet wet in the coffee business with a mobile coffee trailer which they usually parked, early in the morning, at the corner of Fontaine Blvd and Fountain Mesa Rd in Widefield. It was called Morning Glory Espresso at the time, and later shortened to Mo Glo. The mobile unit provided an opportunity to get the business model sorted out, and also to receive training from local coffee producer, Colorado Coffee Merchants. So, when Deedee signed the lease on the former Peoples Bank drive-through location in June, she was ready to hit the ground running.

Mo Glo Espresso officially opened for business on August 29, 2012. They have comfortable seating inside and out. The brightly lit shop offers a full line of lattes, capaccinos, teas, frappes, smoothies and other drinks. You'll also find treats from local baker, Bliss Bakery, free WiFi, and breakfast items like oatmeal, yogurt and muffins. They offer discounts for military, teachers and first responders. You'll find other discounts, specials and announcements on their Facebook page at Facebook.com/MoGloEspresso.

Mo Glo is located at 101 Fontaine Blvd, just east of 3 Margaritas in the Widefield Square shopping center. They're open from 6am to 5pm Monday through Friday and from 8am to 2pm on Saturday. You can reach them at 719-332-8851.
