Press Release (Ybarra's)

This past weekend the State Junior Olympics were held Aurora CO, where Ybarras Boxing Club had two Junior boxers compete.

Luisjoe Ybarra Jr, is a fifth grader at French Elementary in Security CO.  Luisjoe competed in the 11-12 yr old 80lb div. Luijoe took his third straight title by defeating  Anthony Soto of Pueblo CO. Luisjoe now has three titles In three different weight classes. Luisjoe also had won his thrid title in the State Golden Gloves this past March. His next stop will be in  Mesquite NV,  to compete in the Junior Golden Gloves Nationals tournament  where he placed 2nd in 2011.

The second boxer is Luis Ramirez an 8yr old 3rd grader from  Stratton Meadows Elementary, Luis competed in the 8-9yr old 70lb div, and was the unopposed Champion for 2012. Congratulations to both.
