Antonio Viloria first discovered his talent for hair styling in high school. He took about 20 years off from the craft while he served his country in the U.S. military. Now he and his wife Uli are celebrating over 10 years of success with Viva Salon at Star Ranch Rd and Hwy 115.

Antonio grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. He and his brother Sabio worked at a hair salon during high school. Antonio joined the Army after graduation. He was stationed in Germany in 1983 when he met his wife, Uli, who worked at the post office and belonged to the same German/American club. Antonio and Uli were married in 1984 and have a now 20 year-old daughter, Lisa.

Antonio returned to the United States and, after 20 years of service, retired at Fort Carson, Colorado. He and Uli decided to make Colorado Springs their home and Antonio began taking classes at Toni and Guy Academy. His brother Sabio owned and still owns a Toni and Guy salon in Phoenix. After graduating, Antonio helped to open two salons before opening his own place, Viva, in 2001.

Viva’s staff includes, Brittani, stylist Antonio, owner and master designer,  and Robert, senior colorist,  who will be attending Vidal Sassoon Academy this Fall. Uli handles the business side of the house, allowing Antonio to focus on creativity, innovation and continuos education.

Antonio has worked for Great Length Hair Extensions and Dream Catcher Hair Extensions as an educator. He’s travelled to L.A. to do Paris Hilton’s extensions on several ocasions. He now has his own line; Choice Extensions.

Viva Salon specializes hair cutting and styling, highlighting and color services, bridal and special occasion styles, makeup, hair extensions, keratin treatments and more. They serve both men and women and strive to stay “on the cutting edge” by constantly educating themselves through internal and external training, to stay current on, and to help develop new techniques, services and styles.

Of course, the measure of success is always customer satisfaction, which they guarantee. They also offer discounts for military and seniors.
